About this game

Spicewood is a top-down action-RPG set in an endless autumn forest, played in a warm dusk light. Choose one of four heroes (Warrior, Ranger, Mage or Rogue), each with their own skills, resource and three talent trees. Start in the village of Hearthmoor and travel through Ember Glade, Amber Hollow, the Mistwater Marsh, the rocky heights of Rustpeak and the haunted Ghostbark Grove, all the way to the Heart of Spicewood. Descend into five dungeons full of sealed arena rooms, orb switches, pushable stone blocks, pressure plates, small keys and bosses. Gate items such as the Thornsickle, Wooden Boots, Grapple Hook and Miner's Lantern open new areas, and the Heartseed unlocks the final battle. Chain a three-hit combo, roll through danger, loot gear with random affixes from Common to Legendary and watch your equipment change how your hero looks. Gather wood, ore, herbs, leather and shells to forge, upgrade and reforge gear at the Smithy, brew potions and elixirs at the Alchemist, cook buffing meals at the Tavern and expand the Storehouse. Play with the keyboard on a computer or with on-screen touch controls on your phone or tablet.
